Eagles Press Release: Hartviksen Commits to NCAA
 
The Canmore Eagles are pleased to announce that 20-year old forward Mike Hartviksen has committed to attending the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie Wisconsin. He will be playing for the University of Wisconsin-Stout Blue Devils. The Blue Devils were the 2009 Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Peters Cup Champions and 2009 NCAA Division III Frozen Four participants in Lake Placid.

Mike just completed three years of Junior Hockey with the Canmore Eagles, where he amassed 30 goals, 59 assists for 89 points in 179 games. He was a valuable member of the Eagles with his exceptional speed and scoring touch.

As an organization we are very excited for Mike, he has been a great ambassador for the Eagles organization not only on the ice but off the ice as well. We would like to congratulate Mike and his family on all his successes and wish him the best in his future endeavors.
